Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (Nutritionists and Dieticians Act 18, 2007) is established under (Cap 253B) as a state corporation regulatory authority on matters related to Nutrition and Dietetics in Kenya. Under section 6(e) of the Act, the institute is to research and provide public education on Nutrition and Dietetics issues in Kenya and beyond. This core function can only be achieved through a platform where researchers worldwide share their latest research outputs that would drive the agenda for nutrition education. To spearhead the dissemination of innovative scientific knowledge in the field of nutrition. KNDI will have its fifth scientific conference from the 10th to 14th November 2025. The Theme of this Conference is the Role of Nutrition and Dietetics in Health Systems Strengthening. The Goal of this conference is to see how Nutrition Impacts in Health Systems Strengthening. The theme will be discussed under the following sub-themes and persons are invited to submit papers and symposiums in alignment.

The conference shall have Symposiums in alignment with the sub-themes. The symposiums shall run in classroom style every morning between 8:00 am and 10:00 am from the 10th to the 14th of November 2025. Research Scientists, Technical working groups, Non-governmental organizations and Civil Society Organizations are invited to submit a two-page document that contains the following sections.
Panel Discussions shall happen every evening from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm as the focus of the conference is on Health Systems Strengthening. The conference panels will be on the building blocks of health systems development in relation to Nutrition and Dietetics.
Early Bird Submission 31st May 2025: Notification of Acceptance by 15th July 2025 and Late Abstract Submission 31st August 2025: Notification of Acceptance by 15th October 2025. The Abstracts shall be sent via email to kndijournal@kndi.institute or kndijournal@gmail.com. A notification should be sent to your email within 48 working hours to confirm the receipt of the abstract. If not shared, kindly resend the abstract. You shall be notified if the abstract is accepted by 15th July 2025. To give adequate time for Registration.
